This coffee is from producer Duberny Cifuentes, whose farm " Finca Montreal" specializes in exceptional varieties. His Gesha has become the flagship as he won the COE 2023.
One of the things we like is that the farm is committed to selective handpicking ensuring only the perfectly ripe cherries go into processing.
This coffee comes from cherries that are carefully handpicked and then undergo a 90-hour fermentation in cherry husks.
After which the coffee is dried on raised beds.
This natural processing results in a cup sparkling with fruitiness and a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. The coffee has a delicate body specific to the Gesha variety.
